The World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN) is a non-profit organization that representing green infrastructure in cities outside North America. They seek to be a globally-important motivators of the use of green infrastructure in cities; to promote education of green infrastructure benefits; to promote green infrastructure research and expansion; and publicize the global environmental and cost-saving advantages of green infrastructure, especially those related to reducing climate change problems.
With more than 60 years of experience, the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is one of 36 Conservation Authorities in Ontario. Working with municipalities and other partners to look after the watersheds of the Toronto region and its Lake Ontario waterfront, they help people understand, enjoy and look after the natural environment. Their vision is for The Living City®, where human settlement can flourish forever as part of nature’s beauty and diversity.
