Green Roofs for Healthy Cities' members are invited to volunteer on a number of committees that provide strategic input and advice on pertinent issues and develop new products, such as professional courses and tools.
Advanced Maintenance Committee
This committee works to educate project stakeholders about the importance of maintenance and establish best practices and standard protocols for green roof maintenance. The committee also maintains the Advanced Green Roof Maintenance course and manual. Open to all member types.
Corporate Members Committee
This committee advises on corporate member resources and outreach strategies and contributes to guiding services and activities to better serve the corporate membership base. Open to all corporate member types.
Green Roof Professional Committee
This committee works to oversee the continuous development of the Green Roof Professional (GRP) accreditation program, examination, and reviews other issues related to the GRP designation. Open to all GRP member types.
Green Walls Committee
This committee oversees the development of green wall resources and professional training courses such as the Green Wall Industry Survey and Green Walls 101. Open to all Green Wall members.
This committee sets priorities for local market development coordinators, selects papers for the policy track of annual conferences, and oversees the updating of policy courses. Open to all member types.
This committee selects annual Green Roof Research Awards of Excellence winners, and reviews research track paper proposals for annual conferences. Open to all member types.
Rooftop Urban Food Production Committee
This committee focuses on gathering and organizing information on rooftop, wall, and other building-integrated food production to maintain the Urban Agriculture course. Open to all member types.
