Dr. Coffman is an Associate Professor and Director of the Novel Ecology Design Lab at Kent State University where he specializes in the conceptualization and performance of living architecture. He is the Chair of the Regional Academic Centers of Excellence, Editor of the Journal of Living Architecture, and recognized designer and scientist. His collaborative research can be viewed in various journals including Water Environment Research, Science of the Total Environment, Bioscience, Urban Habitats, Journal of Living Architecture, and the Journal of Green Building.
