Michael Krause

Michael Krause is the President and Director of Strategy and New Projects at Kandiyohi Development Partners, LLC. Kandiyohi is a development and consulting firm in Minneapolis focused on urban redevelopment, green buildings, renewable energy, and clean technologies. Kandiyohi are members of the US Green Building Council.

Mr. Krause comes from a history in environmental and policy work, including working for nine years as the Executive Director of Minneaopolis’ Green Institute as well as working on the policy staff of local and regional governments in Hennepin County and Minnesota. Previous to that, Mr. Krause was an editor, publisher and award winner columnist with the Weekly News, Inc. – a Minneapolis newspaper chain.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School Mr. Krause has worked with a variety of organizations, including: Minneapolis Planning Commission, Minnesota Environmental Initiative, Eco-Industrial Development Council (formerly Cornell Eco-Industrial Roundtable), International Solar Cities Congress and the U.S. Green Building Council, among others.
