T he Living Architecture Monitor (LAM) magazine reflects Green Roof for Healthy Cities’ enhanced commitment to educate, inspire and celebrate this emerging restorative, sustainable vision of architecture and landscape design that extends beyond green roofs.

By design, the content of the LAM is written to appeal to a wide-range of professionals involved in the green roof and wall industry in North America. The magazine supports GRHC’s mission to increase the awareness of the economic, social and environmental green roofs and green walls, and other forms of living architecture through education, advocacy, professional development and celebrations of excellence. Each issue features in-depth interviews with the leaders in the green building movement, opinions, as well as detailed case studies and new developments in the green roof and wall industry.

The Editors

The magazine is edited by Steven W. Peck, GRP, HASLA (LAM editor-at-large), founder and president of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and Caroline M. Nolan, M.Sc., GRP (LAM editor), an award-winning journalist and now principal of ThinkSustain® Consulting, a boutique consultancy focused on strategic change for sustainability in business.

The LAM editorial team is further supported by dozens of industry professionals who generously donate their time to review and write articles.
