The database has been developed by a team of researchers including Dr. Hitesh Doshi, a professor in the Department of Architectural Science at Ryerson University, and Dr. Brad Bass, the leader of Environment Canada’s Environmental Adaptation Research Group, at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ray Tomalty of CORPS led the research effort from his office in Montreal. Staff at Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, especially Flavia Bertram and Steven Peck, also contributed to the development of the Tree of Knowledge. Many of the summaries were prepared by assistants working under the direction of the project team.
